“Know God More” “Stop, Look and Listen” Psalm 19
There is no shortcut to knowing God. You cannot grow in God without reading His Word and watching how He is working all around us. That’s why we need to Stop right now in our life, Look at how our relationship with God is growing and Listen to Him speak to us so we can avoid dangers but also experience the rewards and blessings that He wants to give us. And Psalm 19 is a great place to start.
Psalm 19 is a call to stop, look and listen. God is speaking all the time. He is speaking through His creation and His Word. If we’ve been thinking ‘I don’t see God in my life’ it’s not because He isn’t there it’s because we’re not looking and listening. Psalm 19 gives us 3 ways we need to Stop, Look and Listen if we want to know God more in our life:

To find someone who does not wish to be found is difficult, if not impossible. As stubborn as that someone may be, our God is more relentless!
Indeed, for Him-nothing, no one is difficult nor impossible! We may ignore Him, confine Him to a “church service god” or estrange Him from our everyday work or profession, yet He will find us - in His time, in His season!
And when He does, we will at once realize, know and believe, that everything is about Him and more importantly, has always been.
Whatever it is that we do to usher in the new year, first and foremost —- WE WELCOME AND LET HIM IN :)
